Sony Slr Dynax Lenses Can You Use Normal SLR Lenses With A Digital Camera?

Can you use normal SLR lenses with a digital camera? - sony slr dynax lenses

I have a film SLR Minolta Dynax. I want to upgrade to digital, but I have some great lenses, which are a disgrace, would no longer be used.

If I have a Sony DSLR body can use it with normal lenses?

Thank you.

As Minolta Dynax 7000, these autofocus camera introduced in 1985, changed its bayonet. This mountain, the A-mount, still in use in all Sony DSLR cameras today - A100/200/300/350/700.

The lenses that you work well in your Minolta Dynax in the digital SLR camera from Sony. One of the benefits you receive is this: Since the image circle for a 35mm camera is much larger than the sensor of the A300, which will only be used, in fact, the "sweet spot" lens.

Of course you can, and works equally well with the digital body. The difference lies in the routine of this lens. Most digital cameras do not use any image that projects the lens of a camera. These edges need the "digital lenses are not as clear as in a" movie "of the lens. They are fun no problem with the use of these lenses that are compatible to have. Have!

Minolta kit that I for many years and I have a Sony. I can only work to say that the lenses fit well Minolta and Sony cameras, as in the past. The only thing to consider is the magnification caused by the difference between the size of the sensor to 35-mm film, and Sony - x1.5. In practice, this means that a lens brand, for example, 50-mm cover on the Sony, a 75mm lens.
Remember, however, if this be the lens cover to all other features of the target stretch the same.
Thus, if a 18-70mm lens kit at the end of 18 mm can be achieved coverage of 18 x 1.5 = 27 mm, you still get the distortion of a 18mm lens. It is bearable, but be aware of.
The best of luck, what you decide.

It depends, I think Sony will have its own type of mount lenses. If you have the same equipment they will work, but the image quality is slightly reduced - especially if, with auto focus.

Only Sony digi lenses fit this camera. Minolta lenses that only for the Dynax range, I know what is coming from another device. You need to buy new lenses for Sony.

You will also find the focal length of the lens seems to be different. Since the Convention is not the same size as the old 24x36mm negatives in the film.
