Gas Leak Detector Is There A Way To Seal These Tiny Gas Leaks From The Exterior Of The Steel Pipes?

Is there a way to seal these tiny gas leaks from the exterior of the steel pipes? - gas leak detector

I am renovating a house, and I'm in a contract of sale. The home inspector found a portable gas leak detector gas after the gas company and the installation of heating or the search for leaks with soapy water. Therefore, we assume that this is a small leak of the minutes, sealing all. Is there any way to these places outside of the tubes seal? A seal or epoxy could be used to seal small leaks around this? Still no air bubbles trapped two of the three sites and only a small little bubble in the third, which did not break.

The problem is that the crawler, the electronic readout of up to 50 ppm, not shown in a bubble. The only solution is to remove a certified technician and conversion of the drug and have had a decree that the work was signed revised and repair of all leaks.

Yes, and epoxy would work well, but I recommend if there is a gas welding ... Good Luck

When it was my house, I would like to replace the pipes suspicious "iron" gas pipe. (Not with galvanized pipe - the smell of gas contains sulfur, which reacts with zinc, making holes.)

I do not want the responsibility for defective gas pipes hanging over my head, especially if the buyer to read the report to the inspector.

By using an epoxy to seal the tube hit or miss. You do not have the tube clean and ensure good adhesion, and there is no guarantee that the epoxy resin provide a permanent solution.

The gas company and the heating system if there is a downspout. If the plumbing is done correctly, would have used gas compatible PTFE (Teflon) PTFE tape or pipe dope, and do not leak gas.

get a sniffer and check again. Perhaps the shock. if not find something to get a different examiner, you do not need a test.
